I have seen several of your blog posts with photos of Princess Leia costumes from this year. It inspires me to share this photo from Halloween 1982 (2nd grade, Bettendorf, Iowa).

I obviously didn't have the wig, but I did have 2 buns of my own hair.
It was very cold that year and had already snowed. I was disappointed to have to wear my winter coat over the dress AND to get salty stains on my coat and dress from brushing past Mr. Pratt's Suburban to get to his front steps. Ah, the memories.
