Clearing out the last of the drafts...
For Christmas Eve we had pierogi and sausages, following my husband's family tradition. Also in that spirit, I spent about 7 hours in the kitchen making the pierogi. They turned out great though, and I have been glad several times over the past few weeks to have extra frozen pierogi on hand to round out other dinners. The best filling was a sauerkraut one. Dough was Martha Stewart's. Apparently she is of Polish heritage.
