The total? 8 quarts of applesauce, 2 gallons of pickles, 2 apple pies and 11 pints of green salsa. I have only 6 more canning jars left and they are all quarts.
The damage? 2 apple corer peeler slicers bit the dust (1 broken drive shaft and 1 broken handle). My back is a bit sore from standing on the stone kitchen floor, even in Birkenstocks. The kids had to wait for attention sometimes when I was transferring hot things or chopping peppers.
