J is now graduated.
The peas, spinach, and strawberries look great in the garden. There is no evidence of the beet seeds we planted. Something will have to be done about that. Edited to add: golden beet seeds are on the shopping list for today. They may just be slow germinators, but we like them too well to take chances.
We harvested and ate the first item from the garden on Saturday - rhubarb. We have a weird variety that never turns red, which means that it looks better when mixed with berries, but it still tastes the same.

Congrats on graduation! My beets have not shown any signs of life yet either.. are you going to plant more or do you think they're just slow?
