What I made for Thanksgiving

We were invited to share Thanksgiving with a friend of a friend, thereby relieving me of all culinary duties save an appetizer and a pie.

I made a cherry pie using the last of my tart cherries from the freezer. It was a nice change to the usual Thanksgiving fare.

I also baked a batch of the No Knead Crusty Bread with golden raisins and rosemary. This was served with honey butter. I'm proud to say that I dried the raisins from my neighbor's grapes and grew the rosemary. I did not, however, either grow or grind the wheat.

These both sound yummy... for some reason the phrase "the sky is falling" came to mind when you said you did not grow or grind the wheat :).

Hope you had a happy holiday!
