In case I say that I didn't do anything this weekend


Here is the evidence to the contrary.

Yes, I made the bread, too.

Also went to the zoo, did the shopping, played princess, changed the sheets, changed diapers, sorted hand-me-downs, made chicken masala (still in the oven, did the taxes, and nursed approximately 1,000 times.

Oh, and updated the blog. ;-)

Rico Locals Market

Have you visited the new Rico Locals Market? It's where Rico's used to be (800 South and 500 E in SLC) and features an array of locally produced products, not only Rico brand. Morgan Valley meats are there as are Clifford eggs and Drake goat products. I stopped in last night to get some flour tortillas and walked out with chevre, too! Prices on the Rico products are less than the regular Smith's prices, but not less than when Smith's has a sale. I can't comment on the others because the farmers' market was too long ago for me to remember, but everything seemed like a good value, and it was convenient. They are open Monday to Saturday 10-7.
